Our story

Way back in December 2015 Jakob has been deciding about the topic of his bachelor’s thesis. As an amateur cyclist and a computer science student he was often wondering if it’s possible to somehow automate planning of workouts. That’s how he met Erik, PhD Assistant Professor, whose interest lies primarily in use of Bayesian statistics and quantitative methods in sports. They also started collaborating with sports science experts and together realized they might be onto something.
The first to join the team was Simon, a cycling coach and a former amateur racing cyclist. Surprisingly, he had the same idea in the past, but could not find the right people for it, so the connection was immediate. Rok joined a bit later, providing technical help. The last one to join the team was Greta, who helped with web design.
